The committee in Nyíregyháza for SPRINT Project

The appointment in Nyíregyháza, Hungary, involved the SPRINT Project, which focuses on the inclusion and promotion of sport for disadvantaged people, such as children with physical and mental disabilities and residing in family homes, especially through the analysis and data collection. In addition to our Committee, three European companies are involved: the Bulgarian Courage Foundation, the Romanian Association Sport For All Suceava and the Hungarian Former State Fostered Children's Association. "The Hungarian meeting was held in two parts," Rinaldi explained. "A first part involved some more technical aspects, with a point on the budget situation, but also the presentation, through videophyllables, of the activities carried out by the various partners. The second one took place at the Bárczi Gustáv Disabled School, a school structure that welcomes children with mental disabilities who propose many sports activities planned by the project, aimed at a better involvement of these young people ". "Here - continued Di Feo - we were involved in sporting activities, taking part in a sort of adventure path inside the gym called Ninja Warrior and a volleyball match". Moreover, during the project, events were also organized open to able-bodied children, in order to further encourage socialization and integration. "A good way has been found to achieve the SPRINT objectives and we are satisfied with what has been achieved so far," Rinaldi concluded.
